NAILENE, TAKE TWO!

I've tried Nailene nails once before...didn't like them. But I couldn't resist trying these sexy little nails for Halloween tomorrow. I thought, maybe these will be better......

WRONG!

These are the worst nails I have ever tried. I didn't expect them to look natural, but these looked beyond terrible!! I don't usually have hard to fit nails, but most of these are too small or too large. I only did one hand before ripping them off. Ugh! I am done with you Nailene. I won't ever cheat on my beloved Kiss nails again!! Shame on me!

Vapour Organic Beauty was kind enough to send me some products to try. One of them was this foundation, in color 120. It's too dark for me, so I'm looking for another blogger to review it! BIOX BY PREMIER

Several months ago I was sent some products from Premier USA and I was very excited to try! When I turned 30 I decided it was time to get hardcore about taking care of my skin. I've got some fine lines around my eyes and beginnings of some serious 11's. Don't know what 11's are? Keep reading....

You know when you squint your eye and those two lines appear on your forehead? You know, right between your brows. Those are 11's!! If you aren't careful, after you stop squinting, those lines will stay!!

I'm not into getting Botox, so I thought I'd see if BIOX could give me the results I am looking for. My 11's aren't too severe, but I'd like to keep them from getting worse. Now, when I squint **and I really try not to** I've got the full blown 11's going on. When I relax, the mostly go away. I wasn't expecting them to go away completely, but I don't want them to get worse!! 

Here's what Premier was kind enough to send me:

Here's the consistency of each product:

On clean skin, I applied the Intensive Age Treatment Cream/Anti-Age Complex and massaged it in until absorbed. I let it sit for a minute or two then apply the Intensive Anti-Age Serum to where my 11's are and then smooth the excess all over my forehead. I do this twice a day.

I only need half a pump of the serum, which is awesome. I love that it's in a pump as well. I feel it's the most sanitary way to use face products. It's a glass bottle too, which I love. The cream is in a glass jar, which is nice, but I would prefer a pump. I have been using these products twice a day ((most days!!)) for the past two and half months. I still have product left to use!!

These products are for all skins types, but I have normal to dry skin. There are also many other products that Premier offers to go along with these two. They sent me little samples of some of them. They're so adorable! I didn't take picture of them, but they are in little lip gloss looking tubes with the slanted tip---you know the ones I'm talking about. They are fantastic for travel or throwing in your gym bag. I don't know if you can buy those or not.

My results: Not dramatic, but my 11's aren't that bad--as I said before. When my face is relaxed, you can only see my 11's if you get right up in my face. They don't show up in photos really, at least, not with my camera. I had wanted to take pictures each week to see if I could track improvement. I can't say that I really see a difference. They certainly have not become worse, so I'm counting this as a success. These products make my dry skin really soft and never feel heavy on my skin like some other companies products do.

Oh! I forgot to mention the scent!! The serum smells warm--if that makes any sense. It's very subtle, but I like it. The cream doesn't really smell like anything to me.

The only thing that I don't like about these products are the price. At $249 each, it's not in my price range. But for those of you who can, I would recommend that you check out Premier's BIOX line. You can buy products individually or in packages to save some money.

Have you all used BIOX before? Purchased from Premier before? I found their packing to be wonderful. Everything was wrapped up nicely and put in the cutest red bag with gold lettering. They included these full sized products, little samples, and a face cloth. I thought it was presented very well!

PIXI EYE BEAUTY KIT

This is the Pixi Eye Beauty Kit, No. 1 Minimum

1. soft baby pink, 2. light peach, 3. crystal white, 4. camel brown, 5. medium mink brown, 6. rich bitter chocolate brown, 7. deep milk chocolate, 9. black with silver.

Ok, so even though the first four colors don't have a strong pigmentation...I actually really like the way they come off! Very natural and they have the most wonderful glow!! Now, the last four shades have better pigmentation, but as you can see, they aren't very smooth and don't blend as well as I would like. I'll have to play with these more and post pictures for you guys.

The palette itself is really slim, which is great to throw in your purse and go. There's also a nice mirror inside and a double ended brush. I haven't actually used the brush and I don't plan to. One side has shorter bristles and the other has longer ones. They are actually pretty soft, but these won't give precise application. I suppose I could use it for an all over sweep of color.

This is the Pixi palette I bought clearance at Target for $7 in my haul post! I love to get a good deal! This is originally $28.00. I think it is very over priced unless you catch one of these sales. Even though I enjoy some of these colors, I doubt I'll purchase another Pixi palette. Do you all have any of these? What do you think of them?

GRAFTOBIAN HI-DEF GLAMOUR CREME

This is the Graftobian Hi-Def Glamour Creme Neutral Palette #1.

I was very excited to try these Glamour Cremes! I thought for sure, for under eye coverage, I'd need the light ones. Wow was I wrong! I actually use #5, Glamour Girl! I like to apply using a small concealer brush from Sedona Lace. Then I gently pat/roll my ring finger under  my eyes so the heat from my finger will melt it into my skin. I set it with Powderflage and I'm ready to go!

**This is foundation, but I've just been using it under my eyes...I'm trying to make it last!!!**

I've been able to use the lighter shades as highlights. These cremes are really....creamy! They blend so nice into the skin and really last a long time. For those of you who won't know, Graftobian is theatrical makeup---but many products can be used daily by regular women, like me! I am still obsessed with their Glamour Creme Blush palette! I've seriously used it every time I've worn makeup since I started using it over a month ago! I really like Graftobian products and I can honestly say I really recommend them!

This palette is on the Graftobian site for $21.99. You can buy each shade individually for $11.99 for .5 ounces! How reasonable is that? There is also a really handy comparison chart link here! You can see what colors are dupes for brands like MAC, Cinema Secrets, Visora, and Black Opal. I think I counted 58 different shades---seriously!!! WOW!!

These are the newest lippies from AVON! They are from the Healthy makeup collection.

I'm such a natural girl, my favorites are definately luminious peach, naturally perfect, and pink radiance! What colors do you like? This line won't disappoint! Colors are amazing, coverage is great, super moisturizing, and lasts a good while! At $9 a tube, I think it's a great price for a great lipstick. Oh, and did I mention is has SPF 15? Bonus!!

I really can't complain in the lash department, as I've got a decent amount. But who wouldn't want just a wee bit more? Talika sent me the Lipocils Expert for review some time ago and I've officially been using it for one month now, though it says results in 28 days. ;)

I apologize for blurry day 1 pictures, I didn't know how to use the setting on my camera for close ups.  Lipocils claims this will condition, repigment, and curl lashes. I can honestly say it's done just about everything is claims!! My lashes are softer thanks to the conditioning properties of this product. My lashes are a bit darker, though not much as they are dark already.**If your lashes are blonde I think this would be much more apparent for you**  As far as curling my lashes, they had a nice curl on their own before, so I can't really speak on that.

Now...on their site it does say "if you just dream of longer, shinier, sexier looking lashes, Lipocils Expert is your answer…. without side effects." Are my lashes longer? I think perhaps they might be! It's hard to tell since I had such horrid day one photos---so sorry!! But I think since the Lipocils has been such a great conditioner, it's made my lashes much healthier and has allowed them to grow to their natural potential. Wearing water proof mascara most days is really drying to my lashes and I noticed when removing it, I would loose a lash, sometimes two. I've lost only one or two lashes in the last month altogether!!

I'm calling this a success!! I will keep using this for sure! Of course there are two things that I am not crazy for with this product, so let's talk about that. Here's the applicator:

I certainly appreciate the felt tip to apply the gel at the roots of my lashes, but it makes it really difficult to get to the lashes closest to my nose! I ended up using a spooli of my own to get to those parts--on the days I actually had time to do that.  The other thing that I am not super excited about it the price, $55!! Now, this tube will last you a long time I'm sure...but like mascara, don't you need to discard it after 3 months? I'm not sure I want to spend over $200 a year on my eyelashes alone. I suppose if I had fewer, lighter lashes I would consider it because the benefits are there. What do you guys think?

**UPDATE: The lovely Sue at Talkia sent me some very helpful information and I wanted to share it with you!**

"This tube is a 2 month supply so it’s $27.50 per month if you want to break it down. It can last longer if you are using it for maintenance. The tube is still good for 1 year (opened).  For maintenance you can use 3 times per week once per day."

AZURE NATURALE BODY PRODUCTS

I am always excited to try more natural body products so I was very excited to try Azure Naturale. So imagine my excitement to open a lovely package with lots of goodies! The first thing I tried was the body butter in Hula Girl:


"This incredible cream will leave your skin feeling ultra moisturized and soft as silk! Lighter in texture than our body butter bars but just as moisturizing. Smooth on after showering for best results. This body cream is made with cocoa butter, shea butter and other skin loving oils to leave your body feeling baby soft. "


It smells very sweet and girly. It's a nice, but not too thick, body butter. It is quickly absorbed and leaves my skin so soft and the scent really lasts for quite a while. This is a 4oz bottle and it's lasted me for weeks and I still have loads more---a little goes a long way. I mostly put this on my arms and elbows. It's just $11 and you can find it the the NV Beauty Boutique!

The next product is the Mediterranean Jasmine Butter Bar:

This is fantastic for the dry skin on my elbows, knees, and heels!! I love to put this on after a warm shower before bed. It is a little sticky, so I only put it on at night. It smells lovely and even the hubby likes the scent! **He complains about my Heeltastic!!** I can see why this is their number one seller! There are 4 different scents and I'd love to try another one when I get done with this one...which will probably take forever!! This sells for $14 in the NV Beauty Boutique!
